Our 2013 retrospective may have ended last month, but with the release of James Wan’s newest horror film, “Malignant,” we decided to go deep into the dark cellular once again to review a horror film that helped to catapult his career to a whole new level and spawn a franchise which is continuing till this day. “The Conjuring” stars Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Ron Livingston, Lili Taylor and has been regarded by many as one of the best horror films of the past decade. How does it hold up for us eight years later? What do we think of the performances, story, technical craftsmanship, and most of all, the scares? Tune in below to find out.
