It has been more than a year since we did our first audio commentary track for “Serenity.” We promise it won’t be that long again, but now, with the release of Denis Villeneuve’s in theaters and on HBO Max, we decided to watch David Lynch’s 1984 adaptation of Frank Herbert’s classic sci-fi novel “Dune.” An incoherent mess that attempted to adapt the whole book into a two-hour film, the film has grown a cult following over the years for its design elements, bizarre performances, and tone.
