The plot for “The Shape of Water” is as follows:
In 1963, in a hidden, high-security government laboratory where she works, lonely Elisa is trapped in a life of silence and isolation. Elisa’s life is changed forever when she and co-worker Zelda discover a secret classified experiment.
Sally Hawkins looks to be killing it as much as Del Toro is behind the camera. This could be a serious Oscar contender for both her and the film’s technical merits. Let us know what you think in the comments below.
