27 Animated Films Submitted For The Best Animated Feature Oscar

By Matt Neglia The following films have all been submitted to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences for consideration in the Best Animated Feature category. The way that the voting works is that members from the animation branch are required to see at least two thirds of the eligible films and then rate them on a scale of 6-10. Films which receive an average vote of 7.5 will remain and as long as there are over 5, we will have five nominees. If not, then we’ll have 3. And in a very long shot, if only one film receives the rating then a special award will be given to that film. The list can be found below… The Angry Birds Movie
“April and the Extraordinary World”
“Bilal”
Finding Dory
“Ice Age: Collision Course”
“Kingsglaive Final Fantasy XV”
Kubo and the Two Strings
Kung Fu Panda 3
“The Little Prince”
“Long Way North”
“Miss Hokusai”
“Moana”
“Monkey King: Hero Is Back”
“Mune”
“Mustafa & the Magician”
“My Life as a Zucchini”
“Phantom Boy”
“The Red Turtle”
Sausage Party
The Secret Life of Pets
“Sing”
“Snowtime!”
Storks
“Trolls”
“25 April”
“Your Name”
